Our first protest only had 3 people. We felt like we had no case whatsoever, but we kept rowing. I wasn’t going to sink and accept what happened to him. We fought, for months, and we kept gradually gaining the attention of what is now dozens of thousands of supporters. Today, it’s a worldwide effort to Free Kareem. And this is proof of the fact that you can make things possible if you get back up each time you fall, and you fight with patience and much strength and faith. It’s not easy at all, but it’s so worth it. I have proof now of why I should never give up. I’m so thankful for my great friends and our supporters for being inspired by us, believing in us, and most importantly, taking the time to help us in many ways.
