The Naked Truth about Islam As I Saw It In Maharram Beh

By Abdul Kareem Nabeel Suleiman (Kareem Amer)
Saturday, October 22, 2005

The Muslims have taken the mask off to show their true hateful face, and they have shown the world that they are at the top of their brutality, inhumanity, and thievery. They have clearly shown their worst features and have shown that in dealing with others they are not governed by any moral codes.

From what I have seen yesterday of the events at Maharram Beh, which were quite shameful, and have shown me more facts that they have tried to cover over the centuries.

They have indicated that Islam is a religion of peace and forgiveness, but their true face has been uncovered to show barbarism and thievery and fanaticism and not acknowledging others, and attempting to remove them from existence.

Some may think that the actions of the Moslems does not represent Islam and has no relationship with the teachings of Islam that was brought by Mohamed 14 centuries ago, but the truth is that their actions is not different from the Islamic teachings in its original form when it has urged people to deny others and hate them and kill them and take their property, things that they know well but they try to deceive people by falsely defending the teachings of Islam by extremists and they are hiding from the truth and they prefer living a lie.

I have seen with my own eyes the thugs as they break into our Christian brothers’ stores after the whole area of Maharram Beh was completely out of control of the government authorities, and I saw them as they ransack the contents of the store right and left, amidst cheering and shouting extremist Islamic slogans, and I saw them stealing the money from inside the drawers of the cash registers and splitting it among themselves as if it is justified by being owned by what they call the infidels and the worshippers of the cross.

I saw them break into a liquor store owned by a Coptic merchant Labib Lotfy and I saw them smash everything they can get their dirty hands on, including the refrigerator and the scale and the boxes and liquor bottles. I saw some of them stealing liquor bottles so they can get drunk after a hard day’s work against the Coptic infidels.

It is worth mentioning that although some people may think that this Christian-owned liquor store was particularly targeted because the owner is selling the forbidden alcoholic beverages that is forbidden in Islam, but another liquor store in front of the Christian-owned store happens to be owned by a Moslem merchant, and none of the thugs dared to attack, as they did with the Christian-owned store. Now you can see the hateful sectarian actions.

What the Moslems did yesterday in a very vulgar and criminal and horrible way proves beyond the shadow of a doubt that they don’t acknowledge others or their rights of existence or their rights to live with the freedom of expression and also consider them less than them, and these actions should be fought and exterminated for is it right to leave these horrible human beings to do what they want and kill, destroy, steal, and burn??!!

The Islamic teachings that was brought by Mohammed 14 centuries ago should be faced with courage and boldness, we should expose and show its faults and warn humanity of its dangers. We should, even though we are different –look with reason to these teachings that urges people, human beings, to become monsters that don’t know anything in life except killing and looting and plundering and raping and pillaging.

We should stand courageously and boldly against these teachings that became a plague on humanity and is not supported except by extremists like bin Laden and al Zarqawi and al Zawaheeri and the thugs that assaulted our Coptic brothers and burned their homes and stole their properties, and tried to assault their religious men and destroy their churches.

We should take off the religious and sectarian gown and look at matters in a more humane way. We should hold trials to all the acts of terrorism and extremism, that our Islamic history have kept their names and their criminal actions starting with Mohamed ibn Abdullah and his company of murderers like Khalid ibn el Waled and Omar ibn el Khattab and Saad ibn Abbi Waqqas and Moiizah Bin Shaabah and Samra bin Gandab and the kings of Beni Ummaya and Beni al Abbass and al Osman, and ending with the Moslem criminals of the modern day that became more famous than movie stars and singers.

We should show the world the truth of these criminals that unfortunately have become role models for our youth and our children and our women. We should expose their false teachings and show the world that they are a big danger that should be exterminated and removed from its roots.

Before you put on trial the people that are responsible for the crimes that occurred on Black Friday in Maharram Beh, you should first put on trial the dirty teachings that caused them to go on a rampage of stealing and plundering and looting.. put Islam on trial and sentence it and its symbols with a figurative execution so that you can be sure that what happened yesterday will never be repeated again.

For as long as Islam exists on this planet all your efforts to end wars and disputes and upheavals will fail because Islam’s dirty finger will be found behind every catastrophic event to humanity.

What an obscene article...it is clear that this blogger isn't fighting for freedom of expression but for freedom of spreading hatred against Islam first of all and against Muslims. He should be ashamed of himself.I live in Italy,a catholic country and i've seen extremists beating my Muslim sisters and spiting on them, destroying Islamic shops, bombing humanitarian aid agencies and Muslim centers.I guess i should also start a campaign against Christians cause they" kill, destroy, steal, and burn".Alhamdulillah,i have entered Islam seven years ago and i also love Egypt very much and i know that egyptians are good persons, not dominated by hatred and fanaticism as this person is.And let's not forget that most of the people in the egyptian prisons are Muslims and that Christian Copts are a state within a state and they can do anything against Muslims without being punished, not to say about our sisters who have embraced Islam and then they were kidnapped and tortured by their coptic families as a result of their FREEDOM OF THOUGHT AND FREEDOM OF RELIGION.Not to say about the vulgar insults and lies that coptic figures address to Islam in their tv shows.Let's stop being hypocrites!!Christians in general have always hated Islam,i myself was brought up in a family and society who thought me to hate the arabs and the muslims.Praise be to Allah who guides whomsoever He chooses to His light.I indeed testify with my life, with my experience that there is no hatred in Islam and that all hatred comes from who is waging war against Islam. It has always been like this but the hypocrites never succeed, nor in this life neither in the akhira insha Allah!

Well islam may not be the 'root of all evil' but Kareem is quite right in what he says (I'm afraid the so called radicals have in fact a strong justification for their acts in key tenets of islam, they do not 'distort' anything). Sadly we have here another example that there is no place for reason and real diversity in the countries where islamic law influences the Constitution. The copts, non muslims in general, are definitely victims of the discriminatory sharia which regulates the behaviour of the non muslims (still dhimmi) who live under islamic rule: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ix5OU6lLQNw. The strange thing is that those who are the real bigots cry 'bigots' every time they are (rightly) critcized...The only solution to this kind of problems is full secularism and modern democracy the so called 'islamic platform' never 'worked' and will never 'work'... Although we support Freedom of Speech and the right to blog without having the authorities looking over your back, there must be some kind of limits to this freedom. I have read Karim's blog and I support his imprisonment for inciting hatred and labeling Islam as a whole a violent religion.

Kareem has NO right calling Islam a religion that spreads hatred and violence this is the opposite of the teaching of Islam. He emotions have taking over his rationality. This blog was based on emotions and not facts. This will cause riots and violence in any society, thus he deserves the punishment that he receives.

    Thanks

Egypt represents less than 6% of the world's Muslims. Why does Mr Kareem think he can generalize? He is contradicting himself when he writes his materials, especially this one. Mr Kareem, if you are reading this, you need to see the world and read about the history.

Tell me where in the Qur'an, or the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad, does it claim that doing riots, stealing money from other people (different faiths or not), and indiscriminately killing people is right? ISLAM DOES NOT REPRESENT THIS. Mr Kareem I highly doubt you even know your own Islamic history. You do not have knowledge about when the actual religion Islam was practiced beautifully. Right now Muslims are doing terrible things, I understand that and I regret it every day. But you with your limited thinking and mind, need you think back to when Islam was the beacon of light everywhere, when we created sciences, maths, so many advances in astronomy, etc.

Every religion had its horrible moments, Islam's happens to be now. But God-willing, we will get through this, and Islam will create peace in the world with Jews, and Christians living beside us.

that is all lies, you know it and I know and one day you will know that and when that day comes there is no chance for going back to correct the mistake, so you wait and we'll wait and then we shall know who will have the glory in the end.

I don't know, those photos look quite real. If they're lies that's some seriously good Photoshop work gone into them.

I'm in no way showing support for this post however I find it quite appalling that some people have brandished critically and expressed hatred and dislike for Kareem on the basis of this post. I don't know why people find it difficult to deal with the distribution of information and flow of data on a wavering channel of media output that is the internet. Instead people opt to advocate coercion and censorship. Kareem has stated numerously his view on individual freedom, which is to do as you wish as long as a 2nd party is not to be harmed. This guy stood up for something he believed in. I could honestly care less for what you believed in as long as this belief would not entail that I am to be stripped of my freedom of expression or my individual liberty. This is what this guy has been moaning on about since the few articles previous to this one. If you find his post to be insulting or rude or malicious towards Islam, then I suggest you in turn stop whining and stand up against what he has stated in the post.

He stood up for what he believed in, if you disagree with it, show proof as to why you might find it fallacious. It's called civilized manner, it's called freedom of expression and as it is granted to him, it is also granted to you, start using it instead of expressing rage and anger. Such a stance only exudes fear and weakness. Moreover I will end with a quote by Gerald Massey, for those who have backed the rule of the law claiming impartiality.

"They must find it difficult...those who have taken authority as the truth, rather than truth as the authority." - Gerald Massey

After reading his rubbish, I will say this: the Egyptian Court was too lenient on him. Islam occupied Egypt and 90 % of its followers . They directly follow it's teachings and it's beloved Prophets, including Mohammed. He had no right, and deserves no right to insult either or both.
  • Pete
he had every right - thats the point. to me you sound as crazy as the islam extremists we see on the television... whether you think what he wrote was rubbish or not - he still had the right to publish it.
  • David
You don't understand it do you, Kareem broke the Law in Egypt, Do you understand that?

In Egypt, you see, people have different rules and laws, much different then what we have in the US. They don't even adhere to the Universal Human Rights Code, comprehend that, okay?

So no, he does not have the right because he was imprisoned directly due to his actions. His actions, which included Calling the Muslim Prophet a monster, is blasphemous in the religious context, and unlawful in the secular context. And he broke both. SO YES, HE SHOULD BE IN PRISON. ENOUGH WITH THIS MUSHY, SAPPY SUPERNAL TALK.

I don't want to repeat myself.
