How can I expect a real act of freedom from them ? Thanks to the Cold War battles in the U.N. that resulted in the admission of every petty dictatorship, it is the tyrants who outnumber the democracies that hold sway in such battles. Why, then, should anyone still consider the U.N. as "a legitimate international body that embraces human rights and steps up to protect them" rather than the opposite?
